I can't remember a time when animals weren't an important part of my life. I grew up riding horses and spending as much time as possible around animals, which naturally fostered a lifelong appreciation for the bond between people and their pets.

I've always been drawn to roles centered around helping and caring for others. My professional background spans hospitality, customer service, and small business ownership, and I genuinely enjoy building relationships, creating positive experiences, and helping people feel welcomed and supported. At CCVH, I focus on client experience and making sure every person (and pet) who walks through our doors feels seen, supported, and genuinely cared for.

Outside of work, I share my home with my husband, two children, two dogs – Jack and Tula – and an orange cat named Honey. When I'm not at the clinic, you'll usually find me mountain biking, hiking, chasing my kids down the ski hill, or soaking up time with friends and family. I feel very grateful to live in the Gunnison Valley and to spend my days working with both people and the animals they love.

I was born and raised in Crested Butte, so I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the CCVH team in the place I've always called home. I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Religion, Spirituality, & Society and a minor in Bioethics. While veterinary medicine is new territory for me, I bring a background in healthcare support, client service, and community-facing work, and I couldn't think of a better place to bring it all together.

I've been a dog owner my whole life, and my family currently has two Labrador Retrievers: Uma, a black Lab puppy, and Yogi, a five-year-old chocolate Lab. I also enjoy fostering dogs and dog-sitting whenever I have the opportunity.

When I'm not at the clinic, you'll usually find me outside – fishing or rafting on the river, hiking, camping, skiing, or snowmobiling. I also love cooking, hosting family and friends, and catching live music whenever I can. I can't wait to meet you and your pets and be part of caring for the animals right here in the Gunnison Valley!

I moved to the Gunnison Valley in 2013 and have loved calling it home ever since. Over the years, I've worked in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine as well as animal rescue, experiences that have deepened my appreciation for just how resilient animals are and what a privilege it is to care for them.

At CCVH, I'm excited to care for the animals of the Gunnison Valley and reconnect with many of the neighbors, clients, and pets I've come to know over the years.

Outside of the clinic, you'll usually find me spending time outside with friends and my dogs, Boone, Newt, and Tuna, along with Rooster, my very social cat who is convinced she's a dog. I also enjoy fostering and volunteering with rescue organizations, playing soccer, climbing, and, more recently, experimenting in the kitchen.
